Chartered on June 26, 1974, the Tri-State Building & Construction Trades Council is comprised of local construction union affiliates and their member tradespeople who work in southern Ohio, northern Kentucky, and West Virginia.

When Building Tradespeople thrive, the Tri-State region thrives. The Tri-State Building Trades Council works with our private and public partners to attract investment economic development our region. We support local unions in their mission to protect tradespeople’s safety on construction sites, and to secure fair wages with healthcare and retirement benefits for construction tradespeople. In partnership with our signatory contractors, our member unions invest in tuition-free training for the next generation of Building Trades apprentices who will build and maintain communities across the Tri-State region.
